Questions

Is this the official TEF or TCF?

No. Septo is an independent practice tool. It is not affiliated with CCI Paris Île-de-France (TEF), France Éducation international (TCF) or Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

How accurate is the level estimate?

It is an estimate, not an official score. We compare our estimates with real results users share with us, and we will publish how close we are.

How do I send my recording?

After you sign up, we email you a task. Record your answer in the practice lab, download it, and reply to our email with the file.

Who corrects my answers?

Your answer is analysed with AI against the exam criteria, then checked by a native French speaker during our launch.

Do you give immigration advice?

No. We only help you practise French. For immigration advice, contact a licensed immigration consultant or lawyer.
